The ICS OHS&E policy is implemented through:
- Ensuring all new work practices are assessed for risks to safety & health prior to commencement.
- Providing information, instruction, training and supervision to employees as is necessary to enable the employees to perform their work in a manner that is safe and without risks to health.
- Ensuring systems are implemented to reduce risks and prevent injury to employees.
- Mandating the use of personal protective equipment for all works and tasks as appropriate.
- Maintaining all workplaces under our control and management in a condition that is safe and without risks to health.
- Recording all health & safety accidents and near-misses and monitoring performance on a continual basis.
- Involving all staff and maintaining an environment where any member of ICS feels confident to raise any idea or concern in relation to occupational health safety & environment.
