Overview
After the catastrophic Victorian bushfires in 2009, ICS was approached and engaged to design and engineer a Mobile Exchange on Wheels (MEOW) to be used primarily to get communities back online after a natural disaster.
The MEOW is capable of responding and restoring essential services such as ATM and EFTPOS within hours of an event. Once on site, two technicians are able to deploy the unit, which can then provide up to 768 ADSL2+ services immediately whilst the damaged infrastructure is being repaired.
